Subject: Monthly Report
This month’s report will cover the period from 1 August to 31 August 2006. The Deering Fire and Rescue responded to 18 calls during the month of August.
All of the newly purchase Self Contained Breathing Apparatus are mounted on the apparatus and in service as of August 1st.
Firefighter Jim Dodge resigned on August 1st. He is relocating to Florida in the Fall.
In what has been a Summer long detail, we continued to work on the interior of the Murdough Station painting the walls. Since the station had not been painted in many years, it has taken several coats. At this point the project is approximately 50 percent complete.
In addition to the painting detail, Firefighter Steve Brooks installed new rain gutters over the entrance doors at the three stations.
Assistant Chief Pragoff, Deputy Chief Ladue and I spent the morning of August 27th working with other Firefighters from the State on the Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial at the New Hampshire Fire Academy. The site will be dedicated on September 10th.
The Fire and Rescue Call Summary and Apparatus Report for the month of August are attached.
