Subject: Monthly Report
This month’s report will cover the period from 1 December to 31 December 2007. The Deering Fire and Rescue responded to 13 calls during the month, including two building fires in Deering. We finished 2007 with 208 calls, the most in the history of our Department.
Ambulance One was out of service briefly to correct a recall issue regarding a sensor.
We welcomed a new member to the Department in December. Tim Coombs has been assigned to the Donovan Station. He has had previous experience with the Peterborough Fire Department.
We did not participate in training during the month due to the holidays.
On December 8th Santa Claus made his second annual visit to the Town Hall and then rode through Deering on Engine One for the seventh consecutive season.
The Fire and Rescue Call Summary and Apparatus Report for the month of December are attached.
