MONTHLY REPORT        June 2006

NEWS:.
1.      Exploring:  6 Cadets graduated from the “basic” or “advanced” classes at the NH Police Cadet Training Academy at Hesser College on Friday June 30, 2006.  Ofc. Murphy and Chief Pushee attended the ceremonies to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
2.      Annual Reviews of Officers and Request for Annual Raises have been submitted.

TRAINING:
1.      Ofc. Murphy continues in Field Training

GRANTS:  
1.      HSA Speed Enforcement Grant:  I have submitted the totals for this 60 hours of patrol for reimbursement.
2.      HSA Video Unit Grant:  We have received the video system and are awaiting an appointment for installation.
3.      Bulletproof Vest Partnership:  I spoke to BVP and they said approvals should occur any day.
4.      AED:  I have sent in request for replacement “PadZ” and expect to receive these soon.  ($150 savings over purchase).
5.      HSA Regional DWI Enforcement Pact:  We are approved for this special 2 night patrol on July 28 & 29, and overtime rates will be reimbursed to the town following this special patrol.
6.      HSA DWI Enforcement Grant:  We are approved for 60 hours of overtime DWI specific patrols starting immediately and running until mid-september.  These will be Friday, Saturday, and holiday evenings, and overtime costs will be reimbursed following the end of the program.

DPD Call Outs   7 (3 alarms, 1 loud party, 1 attempt to locate felon on warrant, 1 BB gun injury incident, 1 harassing phone calls).
        MV Enforcement:         137     (120warns, 17 Summons, 101 of these stops were for speeding)
        MV Accidents:           3  for Deering (all non-reportable), and 2 covered for Hillsboro (both rpt)
