NEWS:.
1. Exploring: Several explorers provided Community Service by assisting with traffic at the Town Meeting.
TRAINING:
1. Ofc. Minichiello completed IS200, Critical Incident Management 2 day course.
2. Ofc. Murphy began and is currently attending PT Police Academy. Graduation is May 6th in Concord.
GRANTS:
1. HSA Speed Enforcement Grant: Final approvals have been received, and these specific enforcement patrols will begin this week.
2. Underage Alcohol Enforcement Grant: I sent in two applications for this program. One is for special enforcement to try to stop “pit parties” from forming, second one is an “educational program” for A/V capable laptop, projector, and screen, as well as some salary, to send Officer into local schools once a month next year. I have never applied to this program before, but figured it couldn’t hurt to try for it.
3. HSA Video Unit Grant: I copied and updated my 2003 grant and applied for the matching funds for the cruiser video unit for the CrownVic cruiser.
