MONTHLY REPORT JANUARY 2009
NEWS:
- Officer Parsons has begun his fourth week of the Police Academy. Graduation is mid-April.
- Officer Hodgen has tendered his resignation for the end of February, as he is being assigned to begin training as a K9 Officer for the Hillsboro Police, and intends to focus on that new assignment.
TRAINING:
- In February 2009 we intend to begin the annual required training classes (in-house).
- Chief Pushee is scheduled to attend OC Pepper Spray Instructor recertification class in mid-February 2009.
GRANTS:
- Speed Enforcement Patrols Grant: We have been approved for this overtime enforcement grant, and have begun working these 4 hour OT shifts. This grant will cover 88 hours total.
- Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant: I have submitted for reimbursement on this grant program.
- OHRV Enforcement Grant: NH Fish & Game is re-opening this grant for next year (July 1, 2009- June 30, 2010). I will be looking at the re-application process.
- DWI Enforcement Grants: Shortly I will begin working on applying for DWI directed enforcement grants (overtime patrols), as we did last spring and summer.
ACTIVITY REPORT: Calls For Service Logged: 291
DPD Call Outs 8 (assist calls, criminal complaints, dog problems, accidents, motorist assists).
MV Enforcement: 60 (57 warnings, 1 summons, 2 arrests)
MV Accidents: 2 (1 with very minor injury (no transport)

Open Cases: Forcible Sexual Assault Case (evidence is proving this to be unfounded)
Sexual Assault on Child Case (evidence is lacking to prosecute, DCYF has already closed their investigation)
Breach of Bail Case (warrant has been issued, trying to find the defendant)
