RE: TRICK OR TREATING HOURS IN DEERING, NH
The Deering Police Department announces that HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREATING hours will be on Halloween, FRIDAY OCTOBER 31, 2008, from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM.
The Police Department will have extra patrols throughout this evening, including Police Officers and Explorer’s from the Hillcat Cadet Post 612 who will specifically be assigned to assist with traffic control and site security in the heavily traveled Longwoods Mobile Home Park area of Deering.
The Police Department further reminds and asks parents to ensure that their children have reflective clothing or straps, carry flashlights or safety beacons, carry cell phones for emergencies, and that younger children be accompanied by an adult or older responsible sibling. If you find any questionable candy or food items (torn or altered packaging), or otherwise come upon any suspicious or dangerous activity, please call Police Dispatch immediately at 464-3600, so the nearest officer can be dispatched to assist.
