Tasked with developing a 'master plan' for the Town Common (triangular lot across from the town hall) and a community usage/development plan for the 'Hotel Lot' (corner of Gregg Hill Road and Route 149 - currently a sloping mowed field). Committee was originally funded by town meeting with a $6,000 expendable trust fund (expenses must be approved by Board of Selectmen) to assist in planning. During March 2018 town meeting, voters approved an additional $10,000 into the trust fund and construction of a community bandstand. Once complete, the Committee recommends reconstituting its members as the Heritage Commission, as future goals, including master plan update and additional community resource development on the common parcels, align with the Heritage Commission's charges. There currently are no active members of the Heritage Commission.
