For Deering Lake’s Many Visitors

Keeping the water pristine requires a lot of work and Deering participates in the NH Lakes, “Lake Host Program.” NH Lakes provides a grant that partially covers the cost of boat checks by Lake Hosts for invasive aquatic species. The remaining cost is funded by Deering taxpayers via designated trust funds. Deering Lake Beach and picnic area attracts beachgoers and swimmers from all over the state and beyond.
