PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING RE-REGISTRATION OF DEERING VOTERS

Every 10 years the Supervisors of the Checklist are required by RSA 654:39 to send verification letters and re-register voters who have NOT voted in any Deering election within the previous 4 years; from April 1, 2017 to present. 

The Deering Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting Tuesday, April 27 starting at 9 a.m. at the Deering Town Hall to review the checklist and prepare verification letters for those individuals who have NOT voted since April 1, 2017.  If you receive such a letter and wish to remain on the Deering Checklist, you will be required to re-register.  You may do so by contacting the Town of Deering Clerks office and/or  by attending one of several Re-registration sessions to be held during the next few months.

No response is required if the person has moved out of town or is deceased.  If the Supervisors receive no response, they will remove the voter from the checklist after August 1, 2021.
