ANNUAL TOWN ROADSIDE CLEANUP

What you need to know:

• Deering residents will join with their neighbors in the annual rite of cleaning up their own neighborhoods.
• The Deering Conservation Commission, Deering Lake Improvement Association, and The Wilds will remove trash from the length of Rt 149/ Deering Center Road.
• Pick up trash (cans, bottles, cups  - small stuff ) and put it into provided bags.  Bring the bags to Town Hall, where a truck will be waiting. 
• Get supplies (bags, water and a limited number of grabbers) at Town Hall from 8 am.
• Alert the Conservation Commission member who will be with the truck of large items.
• DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING THAT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS TO YOU. CONTACT POLICE DISPATCH IMMEDIATELY - (603) 464-5512.
• DO NOT PUT TIRES OR CONTAINERS WITH LIQUID IN THEM INTO THE TRUCK.
