The Town of Deering Announces the 2019 Ruth Ethel Clement Art Fund Free Summer Concert Series

The Town of Deering is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2019 Ruth Ethel Clement Art Fund Summer Concert Series featuring acclaimed musicians from across New Hampshire.
The series begins Friday July 5th and goes through October 12th.
This is the first year of free outdoor concerts in the newly built pavilion on the Town Common. Each week brings a different genre of music, including steel band island music; jazz, retro pop, cabaret; classic rock, country and southern rock; and 50’s doo wop. The performers are carefully selected to appeal to all ages and to encourage people to come out and enjoy Deering’s gorgeous summer evenings. The series is made possible by the generous donation of Ruth Ethel Clement in 2013 to support artistic endeavors in the Town of Deering.
The 2019 Ruth Ethel Clement Free Summer Concert Series lineup is as follows:
- Friday July 5, 6-8 pm – Mango Groove Steel Band, steel band island music
- Saturday August 3, 6-8 pm – Wendee Glick Trio, memorable music for all times, jazz, retro pop, cabaret, and standards
- Friday August 30, 6-8 pm – Rusted Chrome, classic rock, country and southern rock
- Saturday October 12, 6-8 pm – The Bel Aires, DooWop group
This is an outdoor event, please bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, the event may be moved indoors to the Town Hall.
The Town Common Pavilion is located across from the Deering Town Hall 762 Deering Center Road. Parking will be indicated.
