Spring Roads Weight Limit Lifted 2022

Spring road load limits for the Town of Deering are officially lifted as of Monday, April 18th. Seasonal weight restrictions of 6 tons were posted on March 1st to protect roads from heavy vehicles during the spring thaw. Restrictions are being lifted now that snow has melted and ditches have dried up of any standing water. Consistent warmer temperatures have allowed roads to have time to dry out and stabilize. Travel permissions are no longer required for commercial truckers and drivers of heavy construction vehicles.
