Trustees Meet the First Monday of each month
Location:  Deering Town Hall, 2nd floor

Update as of March 5, 2024;  The library collection is still in its winter home in the conference room on the second floor of the Town Hall. Access is during town office business hours, Monday thru Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm. The collection will be returned to the schoolhouse library building in May, and regular Saturday hours will resume thru the fall, with the help of our dedicated volunteers! Stay tuned for important dates.

 

Events
The following events are planned;
 
Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2 pm, at the Deering Town Hall;
The library will host a program from New Hampshire Humanities; “That Reminds Me  of a Story”. New Hampshire author and humorist, Rebecca Rule, will relate a collection of stories of New Hampshire. These stories hold our history and speak to us of community. Audience members may be asked to contribute a few stories of their own! Please join us for this special program, which is free to everyone.
 
Saturday June 29, 2024 at 2 pm, at the Deering Town Hall;
The library will host a program from the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center; “Eyes of  the Wild”, a presentation of hawks and owls. Stay tuned for more info as the date approaches!
