The Deering schoolhouse library building will open on Saturday May 18th for the 2024 season. The library building will be open every Saturday from 10 am until 1 pm through October 5th. Please watch for special programming on several Saturdays throughout the summer. The Deering Library is staffed solely by volunteers, in an historic one-room schoolhouse. Come to check out our new book selections, have coffee, or just visit with friends and neighbors. Please email library@deering.nh.us if you wish to volunteer.
Events
The following events are planned;
Saturday June 29th at 2 pm; The Deering Library will host a program "Eyes of the Wild", a presentation of hawks and owls, at the Deering Town Hall. This event is provided as an outreach program by the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, and is free to all. Please join us to view these beautiful birds and learn about their special talents.
