Public Safety Day **Photos Won't Load**

The Deering Police, Fire, and Rescue would like to thank everyone who came out on a rainy Saturday morning to attend our 2nd Annual Public Safety Day at the Deering Town Hall on Saturday June 3, 2006.  Notwithstanding the heavy rains, we experienced a good turnout.  The Fire Department was able to display their newly acquired breathing apparatus and rescue boat, as well as demonstrating the "Jaws of Life" while destroying an old Nissan from the junkheap.  The "Airsoft" range and the "Drunk" goggles were a big success for the Police Department, while the Fire and Police Explorers were a valuable asset for all. Chief Pushee of the Police Department and Chief Anderson of the Fire/Rescue Departments thank their department members, cadets, and volunteers for their time and effort to make this event a success.
